The Trinity Grammar School Junior School Library provides a stimulating and collaborative learning space for students and teachers. Our open-plan flexible design allows for the Library to be used by more than one class at a time, ensuring maximum access to resources.

The Junior School Library has an excellent collection of fiction and non-fiction titles available for borrowing, with new titles regularly acquired to extend students’ recreational reading and meet the educational needs of the school community. Suggestions for expanding the collection are welcome from students, teachers and parents. We also recognize that many of our information service needs can now be found and met online, with students and staff supported by the Teaching and Learning Librarian in connecting with quality digital sources via wireless connection.

Kindergarten through to Year 2, have a timetabled weekly session in the Library that is designed to connect students with the collections and to foster a love of literature in the boys. In addition, Years 3 - 6 research and information literacy lessons are authentically taught by the Teaching and Learning Librarian and timetabled according to the needs of their units of inquiry.

Students and parents are welcome to visit the Library for borrowing and quiet reading at the following times:

Monday to Friday | 8.00am - 8.30am and 12.50pm - 1.10pm

Tuesday to Friday | 3pm - 4pm
